JET in South America Project (Pre-setting)
PORTUGUESE AND SPANISH VERSIONS BELOW!
Inspired by all the requests and letters asking the band to play in South America I decided it was time for some engagement!
If you'd been to one of my blogs you know that I love to come up with ideas to make the fans work together to get what they want. So I created this Project to gather all the efforts to take the band to our continent. Before we go on let me just make something clear, THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE RELATED DIRECTLY TO THE BAND. The band or their management will not take part on this before I get it to them. That's why it's not on the news section or on their Twitter. Anyway, I came up with some initial
ideas but we should discuss them more as it goes.
1st Step: Engaging members from different countries. To make this work we obviously need an average number of people. Also, it'd be important that we had members from different countries in South America. So let's spread the word on Twitter, Facebook and any other way you know.
2nd Step: To make it more organised we should set everybody's position. I'd like to have one person from each country to be the Head. The Head of each country will be responsible for getting more members in their country and help them with whatever they need.
3rd Step: With all the members set, we need to think of actions to make this happen. We still have got a lot to discuss on this but I came up with some ideas:
- Videos: Fans making videos with a special purpose, not only to send messages. I was thinking about making videoclips of their songs or videos about the countries or even flashmobs, who knows.
- Petition: This is like standard procedure to ask for bands to go to a country. But we could make it different. I thought of creating fictional tickets so you can print them and take pics with them. The more people you can get to take pics with the tickets the better!
Again, I'm open to suggestions! The whole point here is to make something simple (so everyone can participate without taking much of their time) but that shows all our appreciation and let's hope they get touched!
So, if you want to be part of this you e-mail me to andrealmeneses@hotmail.com with your name, country and accounts (Twitter, Facebook, etc). If you're not from South America but you'd like to help anyway, you're more than welcome too!
Any questions, suggestions or anything this is the place! Coment!
