You know how Jet's career was really launched overseas with the ipod commercial? well I found out the other day that my friend's aunt was one of the producer-people-thing that saw them play and asked them to sign on! It's a small world, or maybe it's just Australia. Either way, you guys can all thank her through me. haha

hey! I'm not sure what happened but my account went back in time or something!! last time i logged on I lost points and comments on blogs that were posted aren't there and messages that I'd opened were unread even though I know I've read them, and that included your comment from forever ago. I wrote back, but apparently it never submitted :( I'm sorry!! I wish I remembered what I'd said last time lol i do remember that I mentioned joining the facebook group too, thanks for the heads up! And there's no comparison, HP is waaay better than twilight! Australian cities sound a bit like Washington DC, I grew up 11 miles away but the city ended right at the river, and there are really very few tall buildings there, I can really only think of one, it was so much nicer than New York! Everything here is hustle and bustle, I'd love to go back down south, going from region to region in the US is like going to a different country, things are so different! and I really really really wanna go to Australia, if there's one place I'd wanna go that would be it! It looks so natural and clean and exotic, I'd just want to take a long break and travel the whole continent. Maybe then I can do my stalking, as long as you can pick up the slack for now while they'll be closer to you we'll have this whole creeping thing covered. Haha I think if the guys read the stuff we're all saying on this site they'd just laugh their asses off at how nuts we all are!

oh lord, twilight! I don't think I've hated something so much in my life before! I guess I'm just baffled by the craze these crappy movies are stirring, I haven't read the books but from what I've heard the plots are ridiculous and the acting in the movies looks plain horrible, I refuse to see them. It's starting to ruin Muse for me, I had no idea what Twilight was for the longest time but when I found out that it was the reason that Muse was so popular I was so mad! here i was thinking that people actually started catching on, but no. Ah, a trip to Italy to visit/stalk Matt Bellamy is definitely in order, and an "accidental" run-in with Nic while we're there is totally fine. Haha we're not creeping or anything. I actually live right outside of NYC, I'm a really short train ride away so I go there all the time. Are you an actual city-dweller and live in Brisbane?

you're right, Tom Mars is simply brilliant, that's a fact! It's a shame he hasn't been getting the credit he deserves, it took Phoenix a decade to make it big here, and Muse too, now Americans can't get enough of either of them! But thank god you hate justin bieber too, I'm soooo tired of seeing his face everywhere. Sometimes I wonder why I'm American, I hate so many of the things everybody here loves, I get so annoyed by the culture here! And I'm so excited, I got my floor tickets for Muse, it's going to be amazing! Too bad you missed Kasabian, but you'll probably have a chance to see them again before I do. I'm hoping to go to the UK next summer, so if you're there when I am we should meet up!! We can go stalk, I mean visit, Nic and Cam together!

haha! that's crazy! maybe he plans it so he jumps down during the same songs every time, but it's still funny that we both touched him during the same song! It really sucks that you guys don't get all the huge bands down there, hell if I were in a band I'd definitely want to go to Australia to tour! But I guess foreign bands all want to "conquer America" so they tour here a lot more. I'm still pissed that we can't get Kasabian to want to tour here though! I hate that by NYC we surprisingly don't have any good festivals, we had All Points West last year which was so much fun but they aren't planning to do it again this year, and I went down to DC for Virgin Mobile Festival last year (and saw Jet of course!) and I'm going back to that again this year. All the good festivals are all west of here! I'm so jealous that you guys have BDO, the lineups are always sick, especially the past one! And you're going to see the Strokes! Ah you're lucky, I really want to see them, and I wanted to see Julian Casablancas on his solo tour but I missed him three times! I've heard of temper trap, i like them a lot, but i'll definitely look up the others, I'm so tired of American bands and stuff, it's mostly manufactured pop music by 14 year olds haha
I'm so surprised too, I can't believe Chris is the father, he's the only one I thought who wasn't serious enough! But I hope you do get to run into them (even if you have to stalk them to do it, I approve of your stalkerish ways!). I don't like big stadium shows, they feel so produced, I know what you mean, but that probably still won't stop me from seeing Muse in October. That's probably one of the reasons I even got to meet the guys though, the venue was only 2000 where I saw them last and it still didn't sell out. But even for a huge show Jet will probably still be insanely fun , I mean, they're Jet! I'd expect nothing less!

No luck with the Hey Hey videos yet, but I only have time to look for these stuff on weekends since I study a lot on week days. But when I have them, they'll be on JettheF.
Really sucks we're probably not having them, but I'm hoping for some dates in July or August. Chris seemed so sure when he announced the Brazilian tour on twitter. Or maybe it's just me being an optimist!
Thanks for reading my website!

no way!!! I had no idea, probably because they aren't that huge in the US anymore. Unless one of them says something outrageous their gossip isn't as important as what Lindsay Lohan ate for breakfast before she passed out clubbing. I guess it would kinda be nice if it were Nic's, I just know that he and his girlfriend have been together for a long while already so it would seem about time! I'm surprised the band wouldn't have confirmed anything though, they're pretty open with the media, like when Cam got married they all proud of him and brought it up in interviews.
But I LOVE Phoenix!! Tom Mars is amazing! I saw them last December in NYC and he jumped off stage right in front of me!! There were steps on the other side of the barrier and he climbed up on them, I looked up and he was singing the chorus of Lasso to me, I started screaming the lyrics back at him and freaked out a little and just threw my arms around his waist and hugged him, and then after the show he threw his towel to me! That was my best memory ever, up until meeting Jet of course! I still have his towel in a clear little box on my dresser :) but I go to a lot of shows, so I guess something awesome was bound to happen! And speaking of Tom Mars, I do know that he and Sophia Coppola are having another baby (I was surprised to find out that they'd already had one together. So many rock star babies, I'm so out of the gossip loop!). Last time Nic gave his drink to some drunk lady to the left of me, so if you reach out enough you'll probably get something!

yeah you're right, the groupie thing is not good especially since they have girlfriends :( and have you heard about the rumour that chris or nic's girlfriend is pregnant? Apparently it was in the papers here...
you have such cool stories about the band! I've had a bit of eye contact I think but that's about it. Although when phoenic came to brisbane last month he jumped in front the crowd and held my hand as he sung which was amazing...maybe Nic will do that one day..haha

Nah, you're not vain. Or maybe we both are because I was relieved too! But they're insanely hot. My god I thought I'd get lost in Chris' eyes! The first time I saw them live I was standing in front of Mark and made eye contact with Chris every time he'd turn to sing into his mic, my roommate was so jealous that I was tall and stuck out so he'd see me and we'd lock eyes... DAMN that left an impression! He even pointed at me with his drumstick for knowing the lyrics (not many people there did, they were all there to see Blink182). This time I stood in front of Chris and I made eye contact when he was singing the chorus to Holiday and I refused to look away and he didn't either, so he pretty much sang it to me, IT WAS AWESOME!!! He took a close up photo of me when he was playing with the camera, the lens was right up in my face, and when he viewed it afterward he said I was cute, I thought I was gonna die right there!! And Mark, WOW, I always thought he was so adorable, but in person, wow, just WOW! Haha I almost quipped back to Nic "you don't need a magician to make that happen" but I stopped myself, I figured that because they saw us as being really chill and fun that they let us stay, but I think if we tried the fangirl /groupie bit they probably would've kicked us out. My roommate went one step further and told me she was disappointed that I didn't hook up with any of them!!!
